Sarson ka Saag-
It is an authentic Punjabi dish. Basically it is served with Makai ki roti which enhances its taste. It is served in winter season. It is the combination of mustard leaves (sarson leaves) , palak and bathua. All three greens are very healthy and nutritious. Sarson ka saag is topped with butter or desi ghee which gives it richness.

Ingredients–
- Mustard leaves- 2 bunches
- Palak leaves- 1 /2 bunch
- Bathua- 1/4 bunch
- onion- 2 medium size
- Garlic- 7-8 cloves
- Tomato- 1 medium size
- Cornmeal- 2 tbsp.
- Garlic- 1pc
- Salt -as per taste
Method–
- The very first step is to cut all green leaves.
- Wash it properly and drain out.
- Take the pan and put all greens and onion, garlic, ginger and tomato.
- Add some water and salt to it.
- Cook it till all the greens becomes tender and soft.
- Now take out all greens from the pan and cool it down.
- Grind it in mixer.
- Take some oil in other pan and put finely chopped onion.
- Saute till it becomes transparent and soft.
- Now add the saag mix.
- Add cornmeal and mix it well .
- Cook it for 10 to 15 min.
- Serve it hot topping with white butter/desi ghee.
- Makkai ki roti is the best companion of Sarson ka Saag.
